I loved this book it grabs your attention from the very start and keeps you glued to every word until you reach the last page.Ĭrime Thriller fans will not go wrong when reaching for this title. I love that she refuses to give up until the job is done. I did not get to give this book as much attention as I would have liked to but found myself completely lost between the pages every time I picked it up.Ĭassie Maddox is a woman who has crawled under my skin and I am very keen to spend more time in her world.

Frank Mackey, her old superior from her undercover days convinces Cassie the best way to solve the crime would be for her to step into the dead woman’s life. Arriving on-site, she is met with a corps that looks just like her. When she receives a phone call requesting her presence at a crime scene, she is unsure why she has been called. This book was a long read, and it took me way longer than normal to finish it, but I loved every minute.Ĭassie Maddox has left the murder squad. I love the characters and enjoyed that I could not figure out who stabbed Lexie. This book is intriguing and will keep you curious. The author keeps you on your toes in this book with a lot of characters and Cassie Maddox is undercover, meaning she plays a double role. I have finally managed to squeeze The Likeness into my schedule and what a brilliant read. I fell in love with her writing and have added copies of her books to my TBR ever since.
