(I have not been reading the books in order, and have found it easy to follow as a stand-alone read).Some nights, if I’m sleeping on my own, I still dream about Whitethorn House. I highly recommend you add this one to your TBR, even if you haven’t read any of Tana French’s other books. I loved this book it grabs your attention from the very start and keeps you glued to every word until you reach the last page.Ĭrime Thriller fans will not go wrong when reaching for this title. I love that she refuses to give up until the job is done. I did not get to give this book as much attention as I would have liked to but found myself completely lost between the pages every time I picked it up.Ĭassie Maddox is a woman who has crawled under my skin and I am very keen to spend more time in her world.

You are never sure what is going to happen next which keeps you intrigued and, on your toes, as you flip the pages. Arriving on-site, she is met with a corps that looks just like her. When she receives a phone call requesting her presence at a crime scene, she is unsure why she has been called. This book was a long read, and it took me way longer than normal to finish it, but I loved every minute.Ĭassie Maddox has left the murder squad. I love the characters and enjoyed that I could not figure out who stabbed Lexie. This book is intriguing and will keep you curious. The author keeps you on your toes in this book with a lot of characters and Cassie Maddox is undercover, meaning she plays a double role. I have finally managed to squeeze The Likeness into my schedule and what a brilliant read. I fell in love with her writing and have added copies of her books to my TBR ever since.
